Hockey

    
    I love hockey, and I have always been involved with it. I played all the traditional sports as a kid, like soccer and baseball, but those ventures were abondend after my first "Learn to Skate" session. I still remember what got me interested in trying the sport. After one of my older cousins games when he was about eight years old, I noticed one of the rink doors open. Having never been on an ice rink before, I took the opportunity to step onto the ice. Something just clicked after that. It was then that I knew I wanted to try hockey, and I have stuck with the sport ever since. 
    
    In my Sophmore year of high school, I joined the Bolton, Coventry, Lyman High School hockey team. My hockey resume prior was not vey impressive, having played in recreational leagues ever since I learned to skate when I was five. I was excited upon moving to Coventry to be able to get the opportunity to play high school hockey, something I have always wanted to do, I just never had the opportunity. Being able to play for my school has greatly impoved my hockey ablities and overall athleticism as well as increse my love for the sport.
